Our first wind farm in Aragon.

Clean energy for over 124,000 households

Together, the two phases of this project (Mareas I and Mareas II), consisting of 18 wind turbines, will enable this wind farm located in Mequinenza (Zaragoza) to supply clean energy to nearly 125,000 households and prevent the emission of more than 108,300 tons of CO₂ into the atmosphere each year.

The commissioning of the wind farm is scheduled for the first quarter of 2026.

    The 18 turbines of this renewable energy facility are capable of supplying 290,000 MWh of clean energy per year.

    Its development has involved an investment of around 101 million euros and will have an economic impact on regional and local coffers, as well as through lease agreements, of more than 681,000 euros.

    direct jobs in the construction phase

    Likewise, in the operation and maintenance phase, it will provide permanent employment to 10 local professionals.
