Capital Energy reaches an agreement with AC Solutions, one of the main electricity retailers in Spain

The renewable energy company has designed specific packages of 100% clean electricity that will only be available through the stated sales channel 

• Within the framework of this agreement, which will be in force for one year and could be extended for periods of equal duration, all distributors authorized by the AC Solutions Group will be able to offer Capital Energy products to residential consumers, SMEs and others in the free market 
• Both companies will explore future ways to collaborate, such as by organizing joint campaigns linked to self-consumption solutions and the implementation of new, added-value services  
• AC Solutions has a portfolio of customers exceeding 2 terawatt-hours (TWh), which is equivalent to the annual consumption of over 1 million Spanish households. Capital Energy’s wind and solar energy projects amount to approximately 35 gigawatts (GW) of power, for which over 8.7 GW already have grid access licences granted 

Madrid, 21 September 2021. Capital Energy, a Spanish energy company originated in 2002 and aspiring to become the first 100%-renewable, vertically-integrated electrical company on the Iberian peninsula, and AC Solutions, one of the main energy consultants in Spain, have signed an agreement for marketing 100% clean electricity. 

Juan José Sánchez, CEO of Capital Energy, and Alejandro Ortega, CEO of AC Solutions, sealed a cooperation agreement between the two companies during a ceremony held at the offices of the renewable energy company in the municipality of Pozuelo de Alarcón, located in the community of Madrid. 

Pursuant to this agreement, which will be in force for one year and could be extended for periods of equal duration, all distributors authorised by the AC Solutions Group will be able to offer Capital Energy products to residential consumers, SMEs and others in the free market. The promotion of this offer will include three phases: information about and presentation of the contract that best adapts to the needs of each customer; the pre-sale phase, in which AC Solutions ensures that the customer has understood all the terms and conditions; and finally, management of the contract.   

In order to promote this exclusive agreement, the renewable energy company has designed some specific, 100% clean electricity packages that will only be available through the consultant’s commercial network. Furthermore, both companies will explore future ways to collaborate, such as by organizing joint campaigns linked to self-consumption solutions and the implementation of new, added-value services for customers. 

This partnership represents a growth opportunity for both companies. On the one hand, AC Solutions links its brand to a relevant player in the development, operation and sale of renewable energy. On the other, Capital Energy is partnering with one of the main players within the scope of energy sales in Spain.
