Paredes de Nava (Palencia), 19 September 2022.- Capital Energy, a Spanish energy company established two decades ago that seeks to become the first vertically-integrated 100% renewable energy operator in the Iberian peninsula, is today, Monday 19 September, launching La Energía de las Personas (People’s Energy) the podcast with which it seeks to highlight the social side that makes its clean energy project so different.

Through this growing new communication format, and through a series of monthly chapters lasting between 20 and 30 minutes, Capital Energy seeks to takelisteners to the territories where it does business, highlighting stories full of energy and excitement from people who live in these areas.

Just as the company promotes improving the quality of life of the inhabitants of the villages through its renewable facilities and the Territories Project associated with them, the locals starring in these podcasts also improve the life of their neighbours through their energy.

Through the Territories Project, Capital Energy is keen to articulate its commitment to sustainable development, become a neighbour in the regions where it operates and contribute to their social and economic growth.

The first chapter of La Energía de las Personas focused on the town of Paredes de Nava in Palencia, where Capital Energy has an operational wind farm, Las Tadeas, with a capacity of 39 megawatts (MW), and is developing its first technology hybridisation project in Castilla y Leon, through a solar power plant with a capacity of almost 50 MW.

The launch of this initiative by Capital Energy, which was developed in collaboration with Format Podcast, will be produced through the main podcast broadcasting platforms: iVoox, Spotify, Apple Podcast and Google Podcast. The La Energía de las Personas podcasts will also be hosted on the corporate website of Capital Energy.
